PLEASE JOIN US for the 'UPLIFTING' Aerial Yoga Teacher Training
Online and "Hands-On" teaching hours
Thursday, May 17 through Sunday, May 20, 2018
All certified yoga instructors, movement educators, certified therapeutic or fitness professionals with teaching experience and a diverse yoga practice will be accepted into this 30 hour course.
Aerial Yoga allows the practitioner to explore traditional yoga poses with the use of a supportive prop, the aerial swing. This swing is suspended from the ceiling and helps students improve balance, create space in the joints, build strength, obtain proper body alignment & easily achieve inversions, decompressing the the spine with reduced risk of injury. It allows people to hold challenging postures longer, deepening the yoga practice with less strain. Inverting encourages rich oxygenated blood to flow through the system, flushing out stress hormones and stimulating the production of relaxing neurotransmitters.
This 30 hour module will allow YOU to delve deeply into your own practice and explore the gifts and joys of teaching Aerial Yoga. Students learn proper safety and alignment techniques with creative sequencing for various practices including vinyasa flow, aerial fitness and restorative classes. Includes Videos, Manual and ongoing support through out and beyond.
