Aerial Yoga Teacher Training

Deepen your personal practice while taking traditional yoga poses into the air.

Study proper safety and alignment techniques when learning creative sequencing for teaching all level aerial yoga classes including vinyasa flow, aerial fitness and restorative practice. This course includes a comprehensive guide, videos and ongoing support throughout and beyond the training.

After completing this 30 hour certification module, the Aerial Yoga Instructor will safely and confidently incorporate the aerial yoga swing prop for teaching students of all ages and abilities.

Pre-registration is required / prerequisites apply = Trainees MUST have a functional knowledge of anatomy and physiology, a 200 hour yoga certification, (or equivalent) , such as pilates or fitness trainer certification, or by permission of instructor.

Course taught by: Jill Fleming, MS E-RYT master level yoga teacher

This yoga training is rigorous and fun. It will take place at Be Well Community Yoga in Canaan, CT.

Participants must sign liability waiver, complete all 30 hours, including teaching a 1 hour aerial yoga class for review in order to receive the certificate of completion.

Contraindications to INVERTING include: Detached Retina, Glaucoma, Menstruation, High Blood Pressure, Low Blood Pressure, Pregnancy, Heart Problems, Sinusitis, Vertigo and Botox injections 24 hours prior - Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise program and talk to your instructor about  any concerns or questions you may have.
