Circus Smorgasbord - a taste of all things circus!
Thursdays 3:45-5:15 pm/ Sept 25 - Oct 30, 2025 - six week session with Instructor Jill Fleming
This 90 minute class begins with a friendly greeting, warm-up and game.
Each week will have a different Focus such as Balance, Tumbling, Aerial Arts or Juggling.
Students rotate through a variety of skill “stations” to improve physical strength, coordination and self-confidence.
Students will Learn:
BALANCE SKILLS including walking on wire and stilts, Rola-Bola (balance board), Pedalo (wheel walker), and unicycle.
Students also explore an assortment of manipulations ( juggling skills) such as balancing feathers, spinning plates and JUGGLING with scarves and balls.
TUMBLING & mini trampoline VAULTING
AERIAL ARTS -Low Flying Aerial Equipment such as Spanish Web, Static Trapeze, Fabric and Lyra for those who want to challenge themselves above ground.
Each class ends with 10 mins of "Choice time" when students can focus on an area of interest to practice previously learned skills.
DRESS CODE:
Students must wear sneakers and snug fitting athletic clothing that allows freedom of movement and does not slide up their torso when they are upside down.
Hair must be tied away from face.
All levels of abilities are welcome.

Students work individually and in small groups to build on previously learned skills,. Covid Precautions in place - hand washing before and after class and optional masks.
